Since our products are made-to-order, we will not be able to accept returns for mattresses once the order is placed.
In case you receive a damaged product, kindly contact our customer care at 98841 77249 / 044-2848 4452 within 48 hours of receipt and register the complaint. No claims against damaged material will be accepted beyond 48 hours. Replacements will be dispatched by us as soon as possible.
Normal processing time for replacements is 7-21 days. In cases where replacement is not possible we will process your refund within 7 – 21 days.
Universal Mattress offers a no questions asked refund policy as per the following guidelines:
All customised products (including all mattresses, sheets, toppers, protector pad, duvets and furniture) can be cancelled if the production has not started. If the customer wants to cancel, he is advised to get in touch with us immediately and we would cancel the order if the production has not started. However, we hope that the customer would appreciate that we will not be able to cancel and order a refund once the production process has started.
For all custom sizes order, orders once placed cannot be cancelled
For all other products which are not customised, the customer can cancel the order within 30 minutes of placing an order.
Once the product has been shipped, no cancellation or refund will apply.
Refunds (if applicable) Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Late or missing refunds (if applicable) If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at email@example.com.
Most products sold by Universal Mattress are backed by manufacturers warranty and any claims against the defective products will have to be raised with the manufacturer. Please check the manufacturer's warranty document shipped with the product and contact them directly (Call Centres/ accredited Technical Assistance centres).
If you are unable to contact the manufacturer, please get in touch with our Customer Care representative. We will be happy to get in touch with the manufacturer on your behalf and facilitate a resolution. (This only applies in cases where the manufacturer provides such a warranty)
All sales and interactions with Universal Mattress shall be governed by and interpreted and construed in accordance with the laws of India. In case of any disputes with Universal Mattress, the same shall be subject to courts/authorities/forums in Chennai only.
